Mattress Comparisons

One of the hardest parts of mattress shopping is with comparing mattresses. Whether you choose to buy a mattress online or offline there are challenges. It’s nearly impossible to compare mattresses when you go to a mattress store. From the minute you walk in, a salesperson is there shadowing you, trying to get you to buy something. If that’s not bad enough, the majority of mattresses are mislabeled. The information you’re looking for might be lacking, or in some cases might not be present at all. Sure, you have a salesman at the ready to answer your questions, but who wants to involve them more than they already are?

Worst of all, your time on each mattress is minimal, at best. It’s hard to compare mattresses when you sit on one for five minutes and then move to another. Couple that with the lack of information about each mattress and you’re basically shopping without a safety net! You need to be able to compare mattresses at your own speed, so you know when the decision is made that you’re making the right one!

This is exactly why we created Sleep Zoo. We have personally tested every mattress on this website so that shoppers like you have the information you need to compare mattresses before you buy one. We provide all the information so you can do a side by side comparison, and choose the mattress that is right for you, without a doubt!

Sleep Zoo’s Mattress Comparison

Before you start looking at mattress features and all that jazz, here are a few things to look for when choosing a new mattress:

  1. What kind of feel are you looking for? – Some people want a foam mattress and others prefer innerspring. Do you need a firm bed or something softer? Do you have back pain that requires a specific firmness?
  2. What’s your budget? – Price matters. If you’re buying a bed for a guest room or an RV you might not want to spend a lot of money. You can afford to get something less expensive because it’s not an everyday bed. Maybe you just don’t have a lot of money to spend. Whatever the budgeting concerns are, you can rest easy and know that there are a variety of mattresses available in your price range.
  3. How do you sleep? – Are you a back sleeper or a side sleeper? Are you buying for a couple? Do you have any ailments, like allergies or another health issue, that make sleeping difficult? These things all factor into the decision of buying a new bed.
  4. Do you want any extras? – Do you get hot when you sleep? If so, maybe you want a mattress that has cooling support to keep your body a comfortable temperature. Do you have a bad back? Maybe you want an adjustable bed to help ease you into more comfortable sleeping positions. If you have severe allergies, maybe you need something hypoallergenic. Whatever you need, there’s a good chance you can find it. You just need to have an idea of what kind of bed you are going to need for your individual body type.
